Parents and Guardians: Good morning...
ALL GRADES:
St. Dominic’s is very excited to announce that we will be hosting a Drive 4 UR event sponsored by Cavalcade Ford of Bracebridge on Saturday, APRIL 1st to from 9 am to 2pm at St. Dominic Catholic Secondary School, 955 Cedar Lane, Bracebridge. Proceeds from this event will help support our students travelling to Europe to honour the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. For every valid test drive taken in a Ford vehicle, Ford will donate $20 toward our Vimy Ridge student trip. Please come out and drive a Ford on Saturday, April 1st to support our Muskoka youth!
GRADE 8 STUDENTS:
The Grad Photo Day has ben cancelled and moved to April 3rd due to bus cancellations in Sudbury.
GRADE 1 STUDENTS:
All students must have an up to date immunization record on file at the health unit. Since starting Kindergarten, your child may have received new immunizations. If so, you must send their updated immunization records to the NORTH BAY PARRY SOUND DISTRICT HEALTH UNIT for:
- Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, and Polio;
- Measles, Mumps, and Rubella;
- Meningococcal disease;
- Two-doses of a Chickenpox (Varicella) containing vaccine.
If your child will not be getting these vaccines, you will need to give the health unit a valid medical exemption or affidavit. To complete either of these forms, you can call the health unit. Your child could be temporarily suspended from school if the health unit does not have an up to date record on file.
Follow these steps to help protect everyone in your school community:
1. CHECK YOUR CHILDS YELLOW IMMUNIZATION CARD.
2. CONTACT YOUR HEALTH UNIT.
3. SHARE YOUR UPDATED INFORMATION WITH THE HEALT UNIT.
