Easter Vigil Saturday March 31st at St. Peter the Apostle Church

Dear Parents/Guardians,
As you know, it is Easter weekend and there is an Easter Vigil mass at 8 pm Saturday night at our church. This mass starts with a bonfire outside where everyone is given a candle lit from the fire to carry into the church (in darkness) where the creation story is recounted. This year Mr. Ashford is starting the bonfire around 7:30 pm and all students are invited to come and help him with the fire. In addition, because the retelling of the creation story includes all the animals and birds and things that creep, children are welcome to bring their pets to church. Please feel welcome come and join in this special occasion!
