Monday, March 23:
Good morning. It is our hope that you, our St. Peter the Apostle family members, are all well.

The Coronavirus Explained & What You Should Do
Today your school staff will be working from home. I have already seen terrific work being done to set up our students with projects they can do at home. Our teachers have provided work for their students, which should at least get us started. The younger grades have a hard copy, given to them on the Friday before March Break, while students in Grades 5-8 should log into their Google Classrooms to work on assigned tasks and projects. If you have any questions at all, please reach out via [email protected] and I will get a response back to you as quickly as possible.
Our main concern today is to connect with students who do not have access to the Internet. We will be reaching out to those students today in order to plan a way in which those students can get access to resources.
If you know of students who do not have computer access, or if they or your children need extra resources, please again contact me at [email protected] . (We do have a list of names from our teachers, but we do not want to miss a single student.) We are here to help.
In the coming days, we will be sharing many communications - through SchoolDay, School Messenger (the text that comes to your phone), our web site (https://spe.schools.smcdsb.on.ca/), and Facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Elementary-School/St-Peter-the-Apostle-Catholic-School-121458972582788/ . Again, our goal is to reach everyone. If you see gaps, or have ideas, please send them to [email protected] .
