Dear Parent/Guardian,
This is to notify you that today our school was placed in a “hold and secure” by local police services as a precautionary measure. A hold and secure means that we lock all exterior doors and limit the travel of students within the hallways. Activities within the classrooms continue as normal. Our doors were already locked as a result of our Safe Welcome program.
It was quickly determined by police services that there was no threat and the hold and secure was lifted. We always take situations such as these seriously and respond with the utmost care and precaution.
